Child & Family Therapist

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for two (2) full-time clinicians to provide primarily in-person services in clinic (Lacey, Lakewood) and community settings in Pierce, Thurston, Lewis, and/or Mason Counties. The Mental Health Therapist will provide individual, dyadic, and family therapy for children birth through adolescence and their families, including prenatally, and consultation for professional caregivers as clinically indicated. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, delivering therapeutic interventions, coordinating care, and collaborating with other professionals as needed.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Licensed or License-eligible as a Mental Health Professional (e.g., LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) in Washington State

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field

  • Proficiency in Mental Health therapy, including interventions to identify and support clients’ emotional and psychological needs

  • Strong skills in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and case management to guide client progress

  • Experience delivering child, adolescent, and/or family therapy

  • Excellent communication, organizational, clinical documentation, and problem-solving skills

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Training and certification in use of evidence-based, evidence-informed, research-informed, and/or promising practice(s) specific to psychotherapy for IECMH, child, adolescent, family, and/or perinatal populations (e.g., Child-Parent Psychotherapy, Theraplay, Promoting First Relationships, Synergetic Play Therapy, etc.).

  • Experience providing IECMH Consultation for other early childhood professionals (e.g., ECE, ECEAP, HeadStart, ESIT, etc.)

  • Fluency in language(s) in addition to English

 

COMPENSATION

Therapists are hired as W-2 employees.

  • Associate Therapist (LMHCA, LSWAIC, LMFTA): $93,015 - $101,925* DOQ

  • Licensed Therapist (LMHC, LICSW, LMFT): $106,704 - $117,936* DOQ

 

*Compensation range includes base pay plus comprehensive benefits. High-performing clinicians may earn productivity-based bonuses in addition to posted ranges.
