LoveBuilt is now accepting applications for the Infant-Early Childhood Mental Health (IECMH) Fellowship, a structured clinical training pathway for mental health therapists who want to develop advanced expertise in working with children birth through 5 years old and their families.
The fellowship duration is 2 - 3 years, depending on whether participants select the Clinical track, the Consultation track, or both. The 2026 cohort begins in October.
This is a supported, practice-based fellowship for clinicians who want world-class training, transdisciplinary supervision and consultation, and a clear pathway towards specialization in IECMH clinical service provision and IECMH Consultation, all while being paid for clinical implementation of their new knowledge and skills. Fellows learn within a collaborative environment that values relationships, reflection, ethical practice, high standards, and sustainable careers.
The IECMH Fellowship Includes

Training in attachment, early childhood development, dyadic caregiver-child therapy (including certification in IECMH evidence-based and evidence-informed assessment tools and clinical modalities), IECMH Consultation, neuroaffirming practice, and Reflective Supervision & Consultation

Focused perinatal, child, and dyadic/family caseload

Robust clinical training and supervision fully paid for by the agency

Ongoing case consultation with transdisciplinary IECMH clinicians

Administrative support for credentialing, billing, referrals, scheduling, and documentation

Individualized planning for long-term professional growth toward clinical specialization and leadership

COMPENSATION
Fellows are hired as W-2 employees.

Associate Fellows (LMHCA, LSWAIC, LMFTA): $93,000 - $101,920* DOE

Licensed Fellows (LMHC, LICSW, LMFT): $106,704 - $117,936* DOE
*Compensation range includes base pay, comprehensive benefits, and professional development through the IECMH fellowship. High-performing clinicians may earn productivity-based bonuses in addition to posted ranges.
